Why would they if they want the player to sign? Are you suggesting they will just say tAkE iT oR lEaVe It?!?

Clubs can’t just pretend the top players don’t have more power in negotiations. It won’t change the reality of the situation.

We don’t want to just “go and buy anyone” else. We want Drown to stay, and we’ve given him until round ten to accept our offer. It’s all above board, and in line with the kind of negotiations we’d be doing if there wasn’t a PO.

I thought Hands was sneaky good in the trials in limited minutes. No qualms with him starting at all but am keen to see Riley get a shot through the year.

Just very interested what Ryles plans for 14 are for round 1.

I thought Hands passing is far more crisp then Ryleys. They rocket out and reach the player faster.
I'd go with Hands

Hands has proven he can be a steady starting 9 and will only improve. I'd have Smith on the bench for the last 20 minutes of the game. Attack around the middle and working hard in defence to cover some of our lazy forwards late in the game.

he does seem an ideal no 14 at this stage of his career, I like his darts from DH which would be handy at about the 60 min mark against tired legs, but then where does Joash fit in if all our backs are fit ?

And this is what WAS wrong with the culture of the place. Fui was a cornerstone of much of the success we had while he was at our club. He was the 2nd most influential player in our team during the 09 fairytale run and was pivotal in our minor premiership season in 05.... You think Bellamy would have treated a club icon the way BA treated Fui? He might have seen his limitations as age advanced and told him to look for a payday elsewhere if he could get one but he wouldn't just lie to the bloke and lead him up the garden path the way BA did to Fui.

The way he left the club was f**ked. Indefensible.
