As has been pointed out already, it's the way Arthur went about moving blokes on. Seems like he never had the stones to have difficult conversations with people but instead just stopped talking to them and froze them out. Cowardly IMO

Tim Mannah basically says that on this podcast. Is he a sook as well.

Seems to be long serving club stalwarts being carted out of the joint like a piece of rubbish was a BA thing.

All the staff were basically told not to talk to him to make it so uncomfortable he was better off going.

Now I thought Mannah played 2 years too long but a bloke like that who played 230+ games for the club never put a foot wrong off the field deserved a bit of dignity and respect at the workplace after what 11-12 years of service.

Exactly, he promised him a place for this year and then couldn't guarantee him a roster spot after that. That wasn't good enough for Gutho which is fair enough but he bolted for the cash which is his right.


Hardly the same as dropping someone and totally ignoring them like a little bitch for the rest of the year. He did the same thing with Mannah, Brown as well. I can see a pattern here.......

There is respectful way to do it. Like ryles did with a few of our legends last year.

Fui bled for the club and had as much impact as anyone he played with in that era.

That GF try is our greatest GF moment since 1986.

Then Fui was treated disgracefully out the door.

And in a way karma bit us on the backside those last 2 games in 2014 losing to bottom 4 sides when Fui was left out worked out real good for the team.

Jake Arthur didn't play in those games either ffs. That's why we lost.

I don't think Ryles has an inflated ego about himself compared to the muppet we just had for 11 years.

Ryles will do things for the best interests of the club.

And if it doesn't work as well with performances at least the style and culture building in the place should be better then what it was when he arrived.

And i dont think Ryles will put his family interests before whats best for the club.
