Dick Penisini is an interesting one

I assume they are planning to blood him shortly otherwise what's the point of the upgrade into the top 30 if he isn't going to play FG this year

Didn’t his contract upgrade to top 30 in 2026, so guess given they had room to spend in 2025 they upgraded a couple of players. As usual , there’s little updates.

with Bailey back soon and Russell starting to actually put in, I cant see him getting a run any time soon

in actual fact, this is wiithout one of the laziest and patthetic move by an club who can't be f**ked looking externally to improve or give our squad a bit of an edge..

Your right it doesn't make sense unless they plan to blood him.

Why upgrade him and waste a spot if they dont feel he will be ready until 2026.

Seems like a massive waste.

Is he banging down the door in NSW cup to be picked.

We put Samrani in there the other week when his brother was ruled out.

I think it’s potentially worse than being lazy. I reckon they have tried (well they definitely did I.e. Galvin) and failed.

Agree. Currently we have only 1 hooker in the top 30 next year (Hands). I guess at the time Fox was suspended and Bailey still injured

Yet we are 13 games into the year and Penisini 2.0 hasn't been anywhere near the FG run on side.

Samuel Loizou has got his name in the 22 team sheet a couple of times.

Like what was the rush to get penisini into the top 30.

Were there a dozen clubs calling & wanting his signature.

Especially after the story of how he did his ACL.

well maybe not dozens, but I was about to post the same thing, maybe our hand was forced in order to keep him

it’s yet another reason to query the list management of the club, there seems to be a struggle to be as smart as other clubs. The first area that needs to addressed is right there, as mad as Richo can be, he woukd do a better job .

Until we get our act together in R&R it’s going to be more of the same of the last 4/5 years, not good. Perhaps we need an alpha type person there, certainly need one.
