My wife is Maltese. And Greystanes is Maltese capital. But some of them are branching out now they've got as far as Seven Hills. Well at least my wife has.

Malta could have an even better side than that. Micky Vella, Ben Galea, Danny Galea. Too bad Buttigieg has retired.

does that mean he has a role as an assistant for this game, or for SG Ball next year?









check out simon micallef, i misplaced him this year but last year vossy and i had huge wraps on him (i heard vossy wrap him and scott jones in a school boys game last year)

JessEel- What was meant by that post was simply, that Michael Vella is the assistant coach for the Malta Knights. That is assistant to the Malta head coach Joe Grima (Joe Grima is the 2005 Eels SG Ball coach)

Hope Ive made it clearer than it was.

Neither Vella nor Micallef's futures are in doubt with the Eels.

Simon Micallef scored 3 tries for Malta on Saturday night.

Hurriflatch- Joe was coach of the 2004 Parramatta Eels Harold Matthews team which went through as undefeated premiers.
He has since been promoted to the SG Ball coach for 2005.
