Eels players Re-Signing

My only problem would be trying to sort out the players who will always continue to put in their best, and those who put in a few big games before june30 and then slip back into a semi-comatose state for however many years until its time to sign again.

This is how i'd have them at the moment:

Definite re-sign
McKinnon
Grothe (take up the option on his contract)

Worth considering re-signing
Widders
Hopkins
Langi
Prince
Thorman

Definitely NOT to be re-signed
Muspratt
Peek
Kaufusi
Pearson (retiring)
Pai
Kativerata
Webster

I'd consider Muspratt and Peek. Not Langi and Thorman, just don't like the way they play (can't tackle).

We have to sign Widders. He's one of the best bench players in the comp IMHO and he NEVER seems to get injured..

I thought that too but we have an option in his contract too
And as far as I know Parra are taking the option up so he'll be here next year

Thanks for that - I assume Luke's on a pretty cheap contract, being one of the last guys signed for this year?

Spot on!!
I totally agree. Loves the blue and gold and has a heart the size of
Phar Lap's. A must for a new contract!!!
