Parramatta has further bolstered its player roster for the 2005 NRL season when Eric Grothe and Jack Afamasaga agreed to terms for next year.
The Eels have already captured the prized signatures of St George Illawarra hooker Mark Riddell, Test winger Timana Tahu and North Queensland lock Glenn Morrison over the past month.
Strongly-built winger Grothe, 24, was widely tipped to make his representative debut this year in the City-Country Origin match and was even mentioned as a potential bolter for the NSW squad.
But he was overlooked for both squads and has missed the past nine weeks with a hamstring injury.
Second-rower Afamasaga made his first grade debut for the Eels following their humiliating 37-6 loss to a second-string Dragons outfit in round 11.
He has since played seven first grade games and will come off the bench on Saturday night in the NRL clash with North Queensland at Townsville.
