I really don't know what the issue is here (if there ever was an issue) Caylo will always be part of the leadership group and as long his on the field he'll always be captain, I don't understand why the role can't be shared with Hindy who with Caylo have played over 500 games for this club between them.

He was the captain of an international side for a reason. Ridiculous how short minded people are. Through all the crap years (02 to 04, 06, 08) he was one of our best players. Yeah in the good years he got over shadowed by Taylor, Smith & Hayne but he has never stopped being a good player and a great leader. Many times I can remember Parra being camped in their own 20, Caylo makes a run at the opposition forwards, wraps an offload around to a back to run it downfield. The guy bleeds blue and gold. To suggest we strip him of the captaincy... well... why don't we resign Lyon, get Warren Ryan on as coach, erect a statue to Hollywood Hartley and change our name to the St. Parramatta Sea Bulldogs?

because Anderson thinks the world of him, because he deserves it...people have been deathriding Burt for a good part of 10 years but he's made gooses out of everyone who thinks he doesn't deserve a place in the side, the guy has just about played 200 fg games, he's the second highest point scorer in the clubs history,he's played fg under 4 different coach's he was awarded the Murray Wilson try scoring award this year, his contribution late in the year during our charge to the grand final was nothing short of supurb and deserves every accolade that comes his way.

Cayless is the leader and the Captain because all those blokes that go into battle with him look up to him and respect him. He has earnt that role through actions on and off the field.

I agree, the one id drop is Inu. Just irks me that people around here are arguing about who should be dropped as if there is only one right player to drop. Really the only one who should be guarenteed a spot is Hayne, and theres only one fool who thinks he should be moved. Where is the Messiah anyway?

Im betting that DA comes out and has a plan to keep all the back five in the 17 that we all agree with and that we win games with.

I agree with stagger here. I reckon Tahu would also be a certainty, out of inu, guru, burt and reddy im not sure who would miss out. Makes sense that maybe reddy to bench as he can cover a range o positions. As said, DA will have a (or make the hard deision) solution that has the best of the team dynamics in mind come round one.
