Can be posted here.

I was just opening this up a little early for some other discussion.
Should Roberts be dropped this week, as has been suggested in the media and what Kearney hinted at at the post match press conference?

Personally, I say no.
He's been next to one of our best this season. Sure, he had a shit game on Sunday, but I don't believe he needs to be punished for one bad game.
He's one of the few attacking players that has looked consistently dangerous.

I think the team remains the same. Sandow plays for Wenty

I'd have Sandow back in, at least on bench for Lasallo and Casey can move into 2nd row/hooker when Sandow comes on.

I honestly don't think Sandow was dropped based on form alone and I don't think Roberts will be dropped either.

Roberts has been one of our best all year so definitely not.

Bring Sandow back also.

Roberts should be retained, and Sandow should be brought back in the side, and if Horo is fit would rather see him in the side and send McGuire to Wenty.

If McGuire is going to be used in the forwards I would rather see someone who is more specialised in the position.

FMD I will go off if Kearney hooks Roberts. If he wants to send a message, then bench him and start Casey at 6 with Sandow at 7. Casey can then switch and play lock or hooker later in the game.

Otherwise Cheyse and Ryan to keep their positions for good performances.

Lasalo to play Bundy.

I'd bring back sandow, put McGuire on the bench and punt lasalo. Roberts shouldn't be dropped for one bad game

That'd be mine too.
But this week, I want Casey to replace Keating at the 60 minute mark and go to hooker. I don't want him coming on as a second rower.

Agree that Fui has to start and piss off the idea of him being an edge forward. He's done this because he is trying to find a place for Hindy but it's not working. Fui is at his best starting and playing prop.

That's one change Kearney has made this year that truly has me baffled.... Both blokes were in the 17 last season, and there was never any need to use Maguire in the second row, and there is no need now.

Eels name Sandow on bench for Dogs match

Parramatta halfback Chris Sandow has been recalled to the Eels top team for Friday night's match against Canterbury but will start from the interchange bench.
Sandow was banished to the NSW Cup last weekend but did enough in his match with Wentworthville to convince coach Stephen Kearney he was ready to return to the top grade.
However, Kearney has named him on the bench after Sandow's replacement Casey McGuire had a solid game in the 31-30 loss to Wests Tigers.

He might have been named on the bench, doesn't mean he'll start there.
Good to see Roberts retained though.
