Pretty much. He will be fitter than most round 1 even if he spent next weekend on the piss.We know Edwards is the fittest at the club but also so injury prone. I wouldn't play him
They need a few game miles in the legs before round 1 kicks off. 40 minutes is usually enough though, so it leaves time to get more of a look at the fringe guys.more fringe players and less starters this week - id seriously consider not playing any starters this week at all - they won the comp last year, so their spot should be guaranteed for week 1 - use the fringe players to come against NRL quality opposition and see who impresses - they'll be playing NSW Cup Round 1- but they'll get an idea of the level they need to for NRL.
I would love to see Mav play. I ended up seeing tidbits of yesterdays game. Mav looks the goods, so far.Staines at 1 again for a half and Spencer at prop for a 40min stint, longer if possible
Anyone know why Lindsay Smith didn't play yesterday? Was named, but I don't think he suited up.
While I wouldn't be risking Cleary, I'd love to see a proper shootout between O'Sullivan and Falls for Rnd 1.
Have Koroisau and Luai play 25-30mins per half with each to assess their combinations.
Similarly with our right-hand edge - give both Staines and May (if fit) a chance outside Martin & Critta for similar lengths of time, and see what happens.
Not sure what our feeder situation is these days (Windsor? St Mary's?), but I reckon we'll see a few of their names pop-up for NSW Cup, while our legit fringe players backfill for the NRL squad.
Fingers crossed for no injuries.

Maybe, however, in short stints he will be okay. On another note, how did you survive this afternoons storm? He's still very raw.
But in 12months time I believe we could have a cheaper replacement for Kiks.
He will highly rated by the club .he is defiantly the smokie for a first grade shot later in the yearHope FEARNLEY gets another crack, would love to get a second look at him
