Linder did play for the Steelers and Australia for a season, but does not hail from the region.

oh and I think David Riolo played for the Eels once upon a time didn't he?

Danny Crankivich has some ties with Wollongong as well I think.

Mine too, but obviously for different reasons. I enjoyed watching him play, while..............................no, I won't go there. :eek:

OK - how's about Peter Wynn - he spent some time at Thirroul and he's represented Australia.

And as a bonus, one of them introduced a ritual/tactic which was apart of league for over 50 years before fading out only recently. WHo was it and what was it he introduced

The answer here is Joe Jorgenson. He is regarded as the first player to stop stubbing his toe in the ground, and used sand as a mound for goal kicking.
