I reckon the VW thing is great. After the recent history of our code, and the possible affects of the poker machine tax, anything we can do to entice corporate involvement in the game has to be good.
Parra is just proving to Denlo and other corporates that sponsorship of the Eels wopuld give a high profile and active vehicle( excuse the pun) for marketing a particular brand. Now that the droll Yawnion world cup is over, corporates will be looking for the next best avenue for their sponsorship dollar. If [parra can get a slice of that pie, it would only be a benefit.
