The loss of gutho is more of a mental battle then anything. The sooner they move on the better.

He will be missed no doubt but he won't be back this year and they just have to move on. Sunday like us fans would have felt like a loss hearing the news.

Heck i am still sad but the players need to respond.

The team is good enough to beat the broncos if they aim up and have 20k parra fans cheering them on.

Exactly. Funny enough, despite being our best player this year, I'm glad that he went down, as opposed to Mitch or Corey. I think French as a replacement at the back, and the Hoff on the wing, we don't lose too much, but if one of our halves went down, I would see us missing the finals.

The Parramatta Eels side to take on the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium on Friday 28 July in Round 21 of the NRL Telstra Premiership has been named by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur.

Arthur has been forced to make one change to his side that came away with a 17-16 victory over the Wests Tigers last week, with Clint Gutherson ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.

Bevan French returns to the number one jersey whilst Josh Hoffman returns from injury on the wing.

Arthur has named an extended bench of Daniel Alvaro, Kenny Edwards, Suaia Matagi, Will Smith, David Gower, Peni Terepo, Frank Pritchard and Kirisome Auva'a.

Kick off is at 7:50pm.

Why can Folau count himself unlucky? He's moved into the backrow for a reason.

And that reason is that he is approximately as manoeuvrable as the Titanic.

I'll be happy if the Broncos are involved in a minor incident pre game that sees the entire first grade side sent to Uzbekistan via surface mail and forces them to send out the Redcliffe Dolphins reggies

Plane crashes on the way down type of thing?

Well, I mean, I don't wish death or serious injury on anyone....so more of a plane gets sucked into a dimensional vortex that takes them through the seven layers of hell and spits them out somewhere in the remote central Asian steppes kind of thing.

People can still survive a plane crash. It would be unlikely they'd play the next day too. Although they'd probably annoyingly postpone the match.

Discipline will win it for us. We need a decent chunk of possession against the Broncos or they will make diced Eels out of us, considering they have a few extra days to recover. Time for our team as a whole to show us what they are made of against fancied opponents. I think we will win.
I hope so but not confident. Unfortunately we are not winning any penalty counts and Broncos always seem to win the 50/50s. All our forwards need to step up several notches from last weekend and stop the offloads. We also need to get more offloads away otherwise their defence will stifle us particularly if we start going one out which we seem to do when under pressure.

I guess BA has Hoff as his first choice winger, with Auva'a as backup, kind of odd if you ask me, we could use Auva'as size.

I was under the impression that Hoff wasn't going to be good to go this week, which would explain BA naming Auva'a in the extended bench, in case Hoff doesn't make game day.
