The only thing we are winning is the penalty-a-thon

We've given 6 penalties away already, after about 15 minutes.

Steve Clark is a deadset cheat. He has a really bad case of little mans syndrome, I hope he gets some sort of sick pleasure/fulfillment by giving all the penalties to the opposition. Ahhhh well. I guess we can\t all be players can we Steve

I'd rather Dogs get Minor Premiers then the Roosters. And Clarke is a goose. Absolute fool.

Well people 2004 is over and it was another year which could have been. I will start by sayin that injury totally once again decimated us and hindered any chance of having a stable halves combination. Other factors include the selection processes and the out of positioning of players. I think if we had another go this year we could have done better. There were multiple games which we should have won. We lost a lot of composure and pride in another season which should have warranted for better results. I dont care if Smith is head coach or someone else is. But i think change is necessary. With our key signing i still believe less than a Top 4 finish will be deemed a failure. With our recruitment drive I think we have the potential to really come out of the closet and challenge some teams. The mains factors which will lead to sucess are the players we have signed staying uninjured and a stable halves combination. I believe Marsh is our most crucial signing and he would have to be our Half. I havtn seen enough of Perenara to say he could be our 5/8 but there are many choices to be made about positioning of certain key players. I think that if we dont utilise the talent of these players we will face another year struggling to make the 8. Come on 2005

And just to tell everyone incase, Parramatta did play today against the Roosters. :D But not according to Channel 9, Goose Gould and referee Clark.

Not that it mattered anyway, but Im disgusted in todays match. Parramatta were playing ordinary ok I admit that, but when they did something good not once were they given credit for it. And whenever the Eels made a silly mistake it was the Roosters were given credit.

Roosters, Roosters, Roosters, Roosters, Freddy Fittler. Thats all I heard in the commentary. Im sure the radio wouldve been much better. Channel 9 are getting worse. Its like the Phil Gould show on Sundays.

I wont go any further, but as for Clark's performance he's got no idea. He's either 12m or 5m in the defence line. He was bad at this in the Penrith game last week. Though I wont blame it all on the ref.

Parramatta's performance was disappointing, despite some of the efforts of Hindmarsh, Hopkins, McKinnon and Webster. Theyve got 6 months to forget about this and get back to the basics, most of the players out there MUST improve on their game. Michael Witt especially. Vella and Graham arent interested out there and should be dropped for good.

Hope they improve on this in 2005, hope Morrison's fully fit next year.

Ps. thanks Freddy on the great career.

I agree with your sentiments on Gould. This biased rubbish has been going on far too long. Either be a coach or a journo, he cannot be both.

Witt doesn't need to improve on his game THAT much, PARRA_FAN, If Witt is to play to his potential, Those special numbers of 8 and 10 have to lay the benchmark and go straight, Witt can't bloody do shit all when his forwards aren't there to play, Not even Johns would of had a decent game in the Blue and Gold today. Don't f**ken always blame witt, I admit, It wasn't his best game, But do you know why. Because our Bold headed props are pathetic. Vella = Gun to the head. I don't want him at the club next year, He has done nothing this season, or for the past 3. I don't care how long he has been an eel, If your not going to perform and play with your heart on the line and have pride for that very famous sporting team you are representing, Then piss off to another club.

Good Night.

Well i was mainly talking about his defence, he missed quite a few tackles Witt. And I agree that those bludging props didnt help Witt.

Theres not much to improve on attack, but in defence a lot.

And to add to that, The way Vella runs around that park like there is some sort of long stick hanging from his backside is beyond me, He also has his arms spread like he is a bird as he runs around in attack lost not knowing where the ball is. And then when the ball lands on his chest for some unknown reason, He runs it 1-2 metres, And offcourse will often knock it on. Pathetic and useless individual. Don't ask me how he made NSW. He is awful.

Hold your head high Witty, Atleast you give an effort, And talk in defence along with Hindmarsh the rest are a pack of Cats.

Excuse me, Are we talking about the right game, Or were you watching the Melbourne vs Manly game, Maybe you got the purple mixed up with blue and you were somehow watching a game at Brookvale.

Witt's defence was bloody brilliant, Yeh I think he missed 2 tackles, But how many times did he get up in there faces and pull down those forwards because Vella and Pearson were in back play having a mother's meeting.

Witt's defence is fine.

Yeah ok, but I have been disappointing in Witt in the last couple of matches.

Melbourne/Manly couldnt have been worse than the Warriors/Bulldogs match. Now that was awful. #-o

Actually, Channel 9 and Gould in particular DID praise something Blue and Gold today.

They gave Hindy LOADS AND LOADS of praise. Talked him up at every mention.

They always do Suity, That's the only player they have heard about from Parramatta.

PARRA_FAN, Sorry, About blowing your head off, Im just really fed up with the critisicing that Witt gets. He get's out there and puts his body on the line in attack and defence and doesn't deserve this crap. Ok he missed 3 tackles i think, But made some beauties. Webster missed 6 tackles, Do we see us bagging him, I don't care if he is little, He is a hooker and they are expected to make tackles. Vella missed 3 himself and he is a forward. Even Mckinnon only made 2 tackles and missed 3. We don't see us paying out Wade now do we. Witty tries, And hopefully Smithy is gone next year and Daniel Anderson who may actually like Witt will give him a chance from Round 1.
