Last time Parra played the Dragons there it iwas a 15 all draw

well they now realise what they will be missing...and by about the second trial game when Barrett injures himself again i imagine they will be more upset and try and blame and ridicule Pig even more.

i'm sure Parra supporters will be happy though

Yes, paying 400k for a player who plays for only 50 minutes, quality money. Having a hooker that can stay on the whole match will allow us to gain more consistency. Instead of Riddell running from dummy-half when Saints are on the front foot, this will allow Head & Baz to get the ball out to the centres

Media always hypes up their salaries. Wouldnt be anywhere near that. He would get a base salary and then bonuses on top of that which would not necessarily be paid by the club but endorsements.

Not taking sides in this, but the Cowboys in 2004 used 2 hookers in the team for about the last 2/3rds or so of the season. It didn't seem to be a bad thing for them .

we'll probably adopt a similar policy, however we're likely to have 3 players in the starting side that can play hooker in a shot which means we can even put a bloke like Tim Smith and Mateo at 14 which will give us a more creative option.

a more attractive proposal IMO.
