Jarryd Hayne takes on the Panthers in Round 17

Tonight’s NRL blockbuster between the Pirtek Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers is officially a sell-out, with the last remaining restricted view tickets being snapped up this afternoon.
It means a crowd in excess of 20,000 will be on hand at Parramatta Stadium to see the 9th placed Eels play host to the 8th placed Panthers in the battle of the west.
For those who have purchased tickets, gates open at 5.10pm with Toyota Cup to kick off at 5.20.
The NRL clash is due to start at 7.35pm.
“A full Parramatta Stadium is nothing short of an outstanding result and quite frankly it’s what this game deserves,” Eels chief executive officer Paul Osborne said.
“I'd like to send a huge vote of thanks to every Parramatta and Penrith supporter who bought a ticket, they will certainly witness a game to remember tonight.
“I’d encourage all of those who missed out on a seat to go out and catch the game at one of the great entertainment venues around Parramatta.”
With two rounds of the regular season left to play, the winner of tonight’s match will put themselves in the box seat for finals qualification.

Awesome news!!!!!!! Lets hope it is a game worthy of a sellout, and a Parra win of course.

Time to upgrade the stadium! lol

Wouldn't bother. Eels fans only seem to appear when they win more then 3 games in a row.

Until then their a missing breed.

Don't worry next year we'll see the dustbowl back to its perfection.

assuming that the change would've been when they went from grass hills to seats at each end

Yes obviously it was.

Why they didn't build double tier stands behind the posts to at least keep capacity over 25k is a mystery.

Seems to a few spare seats behind the southern goal posts tonight.

Sell out? There's half an empty bay in the corner...
