We were great in the first half, then fairly poor for the next 25-30 mins, then brought it home well...Finch may as well be a four day old leek in attack, apart from one good kick he did nothing, and our discipline was very poor at times. But I thought overall we defended our line well and always looked in control

IMO alot of ppl here would only be happy if Finch plays MOM games every week...otherwise he is usless to them!

one thing i have been noticing about finch is.

His kick chase has been great.
His defence near the line when kicks are put is also great.
BTW i think we have the second best attack in the comp so the halves are doing something right.

That's where you differ from me. I thought Brett Finch was very good.

I didn't think he was terrible, he defended well and shovelled the ball out to the backs, but I guess I'm just a bit old fashioned and feel that a 6 should be more involved in the attack. Especially close to the line. He had that one kick off the scrum which seemed like a set play, so all he had to do was execute...and that was it...Sure he got it in to Burt but Burty scored that try by himself

i think finch played well

i dont rate inu right now.. hes done some good things.. and i know iam going to get flamed.. but that fitzy try was just sheer laziness and that bust down his side was very ordinary..

he needs time in PL to harness his game while tahu is here and be better for it next season..

mateo needs to cut out the silly mistakes and penalties.. and improve his fitness

yeah i kinda agree - inu can be frustrating ... I think he's a great player tho, just needs to settle in and get someone in his ear to make sure he stays switched on

he seems to be in la la land sometimes... bit like tim smith .... a maturity thing iam sure

he needs to get a bit of mongrel in him.. like hayne and smith in D

but i rem one game where he was involved in a blatant obstruction that led to a try and things like that

getting caught on the side line and throwing the miracle ball back in etc..

really looking forward to a massive season from tahu to be honest... i hope he puts the body on the line and does some damage this yr

Good win, Parra needs to win games away from home and with the absense of Cayless. Thats the furthest we've travelled with a win. Also it was important with the bye next week, plus 2 more home games.

I thought they played well, hardly made a mistake, and threw the ball around plenty of times.

The only concern I have after tonights win was Roosters won the second half 16-14, but of course they got off to a good start, which was good. 22-0 at half time.

What a great try it was too from Inu in the first half.

Tahu is back in 2 weeks and Inu will be back in PL. Mateo will only get fitter as the season progresses.

inu can aim up in defense - he just seems to forget to sometimes  ..... he is young - he'll be right .... everyone does silly sh*t at times i guess - he's probably still in PL mode to some extent where mistakes aren't as earth shattering

very good 1st half
poor 2nd half but did enough

tbh, with the way they played in the 1st half and at times in the 2nd should've won by a bit more.

Personally I'm fuming if the 2 kicks by Burt that hit the posts go over I win pick the score I had 40-16

Great first half, clocked off in the 2nd for a bit there before holdign steady. I too thought that 2nd roosters try was a bit questionable, even the roosters player looked a bit shocked just after he put the ball down.

still alot of improvement left in INU, tonight wasn't one of his great ga,es but still managed to get over the line.
