But...

Hindmarsh and CAnnings are FAST for men their size and very agile.

Size doesn't mean everything; I still think Burt, Lyon and Vaealiki are great defensive and offensive players.

I mean the smaller they are, the quicker and more agile. But they also get smashed harder ...

We dont treat him like a piece of shit.

But he did lack alot of heart, and refused to play unless 100% over the last two years.

He has had zero confidence since getting his lung punctured in 2002.

For the Tigers sake i hope he gets it back real quick...

excatly, hodgson went downhill after Orgin 1 2002.

From memory he was even dropped to reggies for poor performances in 2003 and even when he came back was little more then a speed bump in defence and a tackling bag in attack.

From 2000 when he joined Parra until the 1st Origin in 2002 he was a very good player and if he returns to that form then he'll be a very good signing for the Tigers but him actually getting back to that form is another matter.

not all of us are, don't ever think that, those of us who still love our ex-eels just tend to be quieter then those of us who chose to move on, embrace the new players, and treat the old ones as the opposition.
But to face facts, we had problems with Hodgy last year, as he hasn't recovered well from his (many) injuries, so naturally we expect much the same from him this year.

I cant wait to see Hodgson rip apart your team tomorrow night.

Really I cant.

Some of you people have very short memories.

I hope he plays well, honesty. But since he was rag-dolled and injured he has not regained his confidence nor (as it seems) bulked up at all.

People know how to handle him now, unlike his early days at Wests and his first few years at Parra. And unless your front line don't miss a tackle, he will have trouble making the try saving tackles you'd hope your fullback can make.

I'll take it all back if he does cut us up, but looking at the stats at the top of the post he stands out as the skinniest guy in the two teams, and our memories tell us he either needs increased bulk or confidence to have an impact any more.
