lol..poor Belly!

 You won't be saying that in 3 weeks when he starts Origin banter!

i don't understand the need to avoid the score... seriously?

I can still watch and enjoy the game even when i know who scored and what the result is/was... and infact, i find it wayyyyy more painful to know that the game is done and dusted, but i have to wait another 80mins to know the result!!

I don't understand the need to know the score and people who know the result and have to share it with other people.

I find it heaps better to watch when I don't know the result.

Next time you watch a live game at the pub, threaten to tell people the score at halftime, tell them you got it from your phone, generally 50% will fall for it and crack the sh*ts at you. Amuses me everytime.

I totally agree with you. In the days before I got Foxtel, and before Ch 9 started screening 7:30 games, I had to wait an extra hour to find out if the Eels had won or not.

Its also so much easier to enjoy the game when you don't have all that tension of not knowing whether we're gonna win or not. But then again thats half the fun of footy.

Score snitches should all be hung.

I couldn't agree more. The worst kind are those that say..." Nah, don't worry, i am not going to spoil it for you, but you are going to be really happy"....

Grrrr!!!!!!

oh yea yea yea for sure!! And you know i would never blurt it out while you guys are watching if you didn't want to know!

I am just a child of the 'up to date' school of thought i think... i have the means and the technology to have the score live as it happens.. Why would i wait??

If the final score is 18 - 6 parra, i still want to watch the game and see how we got our 3 tries!

........and if the score is 18-6 the other way, I'll still watch to see where we went wrong.

I'll be having a peek before televised kick off.

While it is better to watch a game with no idea of the result, there's no way I'm dedicating 9:30pm to 11:30pm watching us if we're playing sh*t. If that's the case, I'll just watch a replay over breakfast instead.
