great club player, but that is all. being safe is not enough for origin. i think he could probably play and not stuff up, because that is what he is good at. he has brilliant positioning, and rarely makes mistakes, but he is never going to bust a game wide open. too small and would get smashed as well. the wingers will stay the same, they played too well to possibly get dropped, and if they did el masri would not be the answer or replacement.

Solid performer but not an Origin player, just like kimmorley. Origin players are a special breed

How can you say that for sure though? He deserved to be the first winger picked for origin and keeps on getting overlooked

The most prolific point scorer in the game. The most in form winger in the competition - Whether it be scoring try, defusing an attacking raid, taking a high ball in defence, or taking a high ball in attack and scoring. Hazem El Masri is the FORM winger of the competition. You cannot DENY it, it is not opinion, it is FACT!

no its not a fact, just Bulldog fans being biased as usuall, i suppose you think that adam Perry is the games form hooker?

plus i'd rather someone that was born in NSW to play for the blues...but thats just my opinion...

Yeah, lucky enough that your rascist views mean squat, seeing as Hazem has played for Australia(He did grow up here)!

This is not being biased towards a Bulldogs players. Im not jumping up and down saying that Anasta or Sherwin should be in the team. I actually think that andrew Ryan's form has been very much below par and he does not deserve the NSW jersey this year. Hazem on the other hand has outplayed every other winger in the competition and adds so much more to a NSW team wth his goal kicking boot.

so your saying that all those people who are against Thorn, Carroll, Hunt playing for QLD & Australia are rascists???

and the people who dont want Morley in a sky blue jumper are rascist too??

idiot.

That is completely different.

El Masri played for Lebanon who is an emerging nation in the world of Rugby League, It is the same deal with Luke Ricketson who played for Ireland I think it was.

El Masri is Australian, Played for Australia and should be eligible for NSW.

Carroll and Thorn have represtented NZ - a top line nation. So they shouldn't play for QLD or Aust.

Hunt can choose where his loyalties are.

You can't judge how good a winger is by how many points they score, if that was the case the 2 best wingers in the game would be El Masri and Luke Covell, do you catch my drift?
Rooney and King were 2 of NSW better players in game 1 and have generally been in pretty good club form.
I'd expect a solid performance from El Masri but he's not a winger who would contribute much without outstanding service from the halves, most of the tries he scores are either from pint pointed kicks or passes, he doesn't make things happen unlike Rooney and King especially.
