ELLIS OUT WITH A THUMB INJURY

Wests Tigers second rower Gareth Ellis has been ruled out of tonights match against the Panthers with a thumb injury.
Ellis suffered the injury against the Warriors in Round 12 and is expected to be out for 1-2 weeks.
Willie Mataka will come onto the bench, with Coach Tim Sheens yet to name a replacement for Ellis in the starting side.
Ellis joins the injured list with other Wests Tigers key players Chris Lawarence, Keith Galloway & Dean Collis.

it was the same with farah against brisbane, he knew all week he wasnt going to play. the club strung everyone along with this 'he'll be given until an hour before kickoff' rubbish. purely to get people to still go to the game.
