Ellis will be sorely missed in the NRL, he is a top quality player and a great bloke. The Tigpies will really miss him. Whoever he signs with in ESL will be very lucky.

Ellis is my second favourite Pommy after the great man Morley!!!

Been close to the best backrower in the comp whilst he's been out here. Really impressive forward.

Good player, loss to the NRL. He'll probably end up at Warrington, they seem to have a very flexible saalry cap they could fit him under!

lol at the thread title. I heard Clint Newton had retired when he left SL last year, apparently playing in some SL retirement comp in another country somewhere?
He's playing in the Super League retirement league along with Danny Buderus, Shaun Berrigan, Greg Eastwood and a bunch of other crocks who couldn't hack it.

Great Player and Great Bloke...

Best signing ever for the west tigers and will be sorely missed without him....

When Burgess came over all the hype was about him and nobody really talked about Ellis but in my opinion Ellis has outshined Burgess 5 times over......

Hopefully will finish off his last season with a great year with out injuries...

TBF Burgess has another 6 years ahead of him to catch up to Ellis and a lot of it was Sth Sydney hype. Agreed though Ellis is an outstanding no nonsense effective forward.

Dugan did play on with the boil, and outplayed Hayne in the City-Country match and got selected for NSW due to that. So your point is moot you dumbass window washer.

Too bad your club's best player pissed off with Wayne. But then again you didn't develop him anyway.

 Plenty of more consistent players at the club than Darius, good luck to him at Newie. Make sure you laminate your Dugan poster nuff-nuff, it might get wet on Saturday night.. with water this time
