Thats a shame(seriously).
Is Dallaglio the English Monty? Good call about Johnson, SpaceMonkey. Its been a while since I've seen an English side lose so much composure.

England WERE the best side in the world, but thats now in the past. Im not sure about Australia beating them, but the Kiwis were awesome and are the best side in the world atm, no doubt.

That is a shame about Wilkinson, if true. Whether you thought he was a good all round player or not, I felt he was a class player who had made himself the best at what he does. And he seemed like an admirable person and good representative of his sport.

England will have to re-build for the next WC anyway. In the short term they would be better right now if Jason Robinson was playing; in the longer term they'll have to develop a new core of players.

Another day, another dicking. How the mighty have fallen, and how quickly. At least the Tri-Nations & Bledisloe should be good.

While England will be world champions for another 3 and a bit years, I truly believe that the winner of the Tri-Nations will have the right to be called the best team in the world. England's last 3 matches proved that.

Oh, that was enjoyable to watch. I havent seen our backs play that well, against decent opposition in ages. Roffy certainly doesnt look like someone coming to the end of his career, and Rathbone showed just how much we need Wendell...not at all.

England were very average though.

Some lowly kiwi who looked like a tubby Clive Woodward
Paddy O'Brien, who happens to have been one of the top ref's in world rugby for longer than I care to remember. Lowly Kiwi? Yeah right. As for the forward pass rule the interpretation of it seems to be pretty lax all round in Union internationals this year, there were plenty of borderline ball in the All Blacks matches. At least they're consistent.
