Poms need 361 to win in game 1

Should get there easily with the great Woakes at 8

Gayle still got it 135 from 129

Very easy win for the poms in the 45th over with 7 wickets in hand

Now both sides have batted , Gayles run a ball innings seems way slow, he chewed up not far from half the deliveries for 135 runs

This poms side in the shorter forms are a beast

Lucky they are all modern day professionals

Yeah mate, otherwise it really would be carnage out there.

Why don't you both tell us again how Rodney Hogg, Mike Whitney Graham Dilly and Roger Binny would be superstars these days?

After all, that's essentially the reverse of the stupid idea you both seem to have taken from the discussion. And clearly everything is binary, right?

Could say the same, mate....
You replied to me and PB, same as you replied to me yesterday.

Sure there were Plodders back in the 80’s, Plodders in every era I have no doubt but the quality of the batting around the world is a poor as I have ever seen it. And to say the greats of past eras wouldn’t of got the wickets they did back then now is quite laughable IMO. Feel free to chuck another wobbly.

Lol. Correcting misconceptions is a "wobbly"?

Didn't you used to have half a brain and a sense of humour, mate? You've become rather Indian-esque of late. Stockholm syndrome from the summer...?
