It's very interesting obsulete.

I'm not sure of the status of many of those games, especially the earlier ones. Perhaps they just warm up matches for Lions v Kangaroos tests or some of them might even have been exhibition matches. The later games I'd guess are mostly World Cup matches.

Those stats are decieving, England from 1909 - 1930's was in fact just Great Britain.

Are you sure they were solely GB them years, as Wales also featured in their traditional 1 match every so often during that time.

In any case it can still be something to promote when at the end of the tri series era we move to the home nations with the lions only getting together every 4 years for tours downunder..

Yes a strong GB team compiled of players from Ireland, Scotland and Wales would be great for international RL. The union Lions tour was a great success because their side was seen as invincible. If marketed correctly the same can be done with the RL version.

GB played as England for a long time or should i say England played as England for a long time before changing to GB, these matches would be a record of Australia v England matches not GB.

p.s. GB were at one stage a country mile ahead of Australia on wins loses, they did after all hold the Ashes for more than 20 years and thats when they were every 2 years.
