There's no real mention of the result on any online versions of the papers, or foxsports here in Sydney.

I therefore ask - How can Australia claim to be the worlds greatest rugby league playing nation when the worlds 1st and 3rd teams played overnight and no-one knows about it?

Our media, let alone our sports media, is a joke.

No other journos in this country trash/talk down their game's own international product like ours seem to do.

Between Netflicks, 4 games a week on FTA and NFL on Seven Mate, I might as well not subscribe to Foxtel. Especially if they decide they really do prefer AFL to Rugby League. I will re-consider my subscription when it's up for renewal.

Have they relented and decided to show re-runs?
