No matter who he picked, there would be disgruntlement over here in England. The mindset of your stereotypical England RL fan is negativity or glass always half empty. Other than 2/3 picks, that’s the expected squad.

Totally agree a lot of people back here in England don't understand why we pick NRL based players over Super League players?

Erm how about because the NRL based players are a lot better than the Super League ones.

Imagine an England squad without the following players in it we would struggle to get out of the group:

Sam Burgess
Josh Hodgson
James Graham
Gareth Widdop
Tom Burgess
Elliot Whitehead

Yes that's one of the selections I didn't agree with and it's not the fact he is not even English because other teams do it it's just I don't think he is good enough.

Let's be honest if Australia could pick 3 teams I don't think his name would even come up.

It doesn't matter if he would be picked in the 3rd Australian team, most likely still in England's best 24. You guys need to trust WB, the dude knows more about coaching and picking players then us lol.

Do people in the motherland honestly think guys like Hodgson, Graham and S. Burgess shouldn't be in the squad? I can understand Tom Burgess, cos he and his twin are all style over substance and believe their own hype, but most of the players you listed are England's finest.
