Do you guys think Ennis and Young have filled the gap left by Piggy and Linc?

I was shattered when Piggy left but I feel with Ennis and Young doing the job it's in better hands. Especially when Baz was injured and Ennis filled in at 5/8 for him which I think he did a reasonable job at.

Ennis' goalkicking has been pretty good as well so definately not worse off without them.

Withers offered very little in attack, which, imo, exaggerated the impact of Riddell. We all seemed to notice this apparent improvement in the team's play whenever Riddell returned to the field, but it was only because Withers was doing nothing but passing and tackling.

Ennis, however, offers plenty in attack. And Dean Young, while perhaps not as explosive as Riddell, is a more avaluable player in terms of his overall contribution to the team in all areas. So I think this year's dummy half duo is better.

I think Ennis tries too hard at times but overall is pretty good for us.
Week in and week out Dean Young is an unsung hero.
Despite our early fears, we haven't missed Riddell.

If only the Sharks team played as well as their supporters troll... Then maybe they'd have a premiership.

I worry about Ennis, not his ability, but his personality. Seems like a ball hog who tries to do too much on his own. Also loves a niggle. But as the year has worn on he has improved his discipline a lot.

Dean has made the whole left by pig non-existant. A hooker-2nd rower that can play 80 mins and does so every week. I think Wollongong McDonalds misses Pig far more than Saints ever will.

I was spewing when we lost Linc, and a fair while afterwards. But the move back to Canberra was better for him, and seemingly for us as well.
