I laughed also when you said Spain would not get near winning Euro 08, lets hope you are on the money again!

I think the Ronaldo circus is going to hurt Man Utd. He had a gun year in 2007-08 and it is hard to see him repeating that form. It always hard to repeat that kind of form two years' running. Rooney may be the one to watch if he can keep his discipline under control and avoid injuries.

1. Chelsea
2. Man Utd
3. Arsenal
4. Everton
5. Liverpool

6-17 Who cares

18. Fullham
19. Stoke
20. Hull

Could be quite a contest at both ends of the table.

LOL i wish. As usual it'll be the same old top four zzz. Chelsea will sh*t it in, Scolari is massive.

Its very hard for me to get excited by the middle of the table, but top 5/bottom 3 will (hopefully) look like this -

1. Arsenal
2. Chelsea
3. Man U
4. Pool
5. Spurs
----------
18. Stoke
19. Wigan
20. Hull

Chelsea could well do some special things if Deco plays up to his potential, but i wonder if Scolari being untested at club level might be an issue. Man U will definitely suffer from C.Rons absence for the first few months, but they'll finish strong and definitely have the potential to catch a poor finisher. Hopefully Arsenal can finish what they start this season, and Nasri's ability to actually shoot should more than make up for the loss of Hleb. All i'm worried about is whether Diaby/Denilson/Alonso(?) can step up and play as well as Flamini did last season. I wish Diarra had been a little more patient.

i dont think Utd will suffer as much with C.Ronaldo away at the start....

im sure SAF will be aware of the need to get a goal scorer early on so he may offset the loss of Ronaldo with Berbatov...
