The Kull was out again and decided to try where is Urglas had failed the previous night. But his strength was not enough to take down the dragon.

Eragon was looking to try his hand at killing the shade again. But the former Dragon Rider had a word in his ear about it not yet being time.


Murtagh was looking for someone who was after Eragon. His dislike for the King and his servants gave him strength to act. He lashed out and killed. The man was more concerned with keeping his daughter safe than anything else but at this stage was on the side of his village.
