He said it tongue in cheek. ;-)

The figures should've been higher, a mate of mine who was at the Saints / Hull game said the crowd figure was at least 1,500 more than the given crowd.

Sssssshhhhh!

We don't want to get into trouble again!

The queues to get into Knowsley Road were ridiculous. At first when I arrived with ten minutes to go I thought there had been an evacuation or something. I have never seen queues like that, even for lockouts against Wigan!

I eventually got in at about 10 past and the place was packed, with many still outside. Credit must go to Hull who brought thousands with them.

I was expecting more than 12,500 to be annouced I must admit, there has been talk of people getting in without going through a turnstile. I saw loads of people getting in through a side disabled entrace, with no tickets being flashed. I assumed at the time it was sponsors or players relatives or something, but there has been questions about people getting in without their season ticket stub being taken, or going through a turnstile.

Warrington also managed to mess up their first game. Season and match ticket holders (Around 2,000) were turned away, leaving the terraced areas rammed so people were forced to stand in ambulance access areas. They are blaming it on fogeries, but myself I think its the turnstile entrapeneurs making a quick buck!

You coming up to Odsal tomorrow, Fairleigh?
Let's hope the snow doesn't start again, then the Bulls can show those Stains that where no chokers.
