Minors: Saints
Champs: Saints
MoS: Roby
Young: Hardaker
CC: Don't actually care. Id prefer if Leeds go out early so they can concentrate on the SL.
1st coach: Rob Powell

Top 3 teams looking at strength of squads are definitely Wire, Leeds and Saints. The Leeds backline excites immensely! The 3/4 line should be destroying SL for the next 5 to 8 years. Wigan dont look as strong this year but I think Wane is a good motivator so who knows. I actually think Leeds will be up there for the year end again but didnt want to do a "Wireman" and put all Leeds down :D

Here's my positional breakdown (in any order),

1-3: Saints, Leeds, Warrington (these 3 fighting for the MP)
4-6: Catalan, Wigan, Huddersfield (Not far off but in the next bracket)
7-11: Bradford, Hull, Hull KR, Castleford, London (tough competition for the bottom of the top this year)
11-14 Salford, Widnes, Wakefield (no hopers IMO. Some poor players in these squads)

Lots of money backing Wire for the title. Surely the first time since in introduction of the playoffs, a team that has never made a final has been favorite?

Lots tipping the french to do well too. Can't wait for an intruiging season. First, bring on Manly....

Young Player of the Year? What's the criteria for this? I don't follow English youth closely enough but I'd imagine guys like Watkins, BJB, McGilvray, Dan Sarginson, Daryl Clark would fight it out.
Challenge Cup? Warrington
First Sacked coach? Dun care.

Well i didn't put Warrington down (or 'doing a Wireman') due to any Bias. Just being honest.

We were the best team last year, and we are no weaker this time round.

We lost King, but Evans and Williams are coming through, and Hodgson is a year older, but so is Riley, we also have Ratchford who can plat full back, centre or in the halves. We have also lost Anderson but gained Waterhouse, so with the way we play on the edges, Waterhouse off loading to Atkins or Myler is going to add to a very dangerous left side.

If i am not supposed to put Warrington, then it would be Saints. Losing Graham is a blow for them, but if someone can step up, then they have a team to compete.

Catalans will round out the top 3, with Wigan in 4th. Leeds, Hudds and Hull to fight for 5th, 6th and 7th.

Cas, Bulls, London and Hull KR for the last playoff spot.

Wakey, Salford and Widnes to try to avoid the spoon.

All in my opinion of course and no science to it, just a feeling.

Yeah i wasn't referring to your particular predictions wireman - they are the top of most bookies lists, something which is intruiging given they have no grand final experience. Best side last year, absolutely. How they, and saints perform in the payoffs next year will be very interesting. Wouldn't begrudge Saints a win to be honest. 5 GF losses in a row is a shocker

Totally Disagree.
I'm all for them losing every year. :D

But then i'd like Wigan to get kicked out for being cheats and not even having there own ground... :D:crazy:

Now you're talking. Kicked out is probably harsh, as there is no better sight than a wiggin walk. Keep them in, but they're only allowed to play 10 players. Salary cap your way out of that pie eaters....

Watkins and Hardaker looked very good last night, albeit against the Championship champions, but I'm really looking forward to seeing those 2 this year.

If pre-season games are anything to go by then I predict Catalans, 46-10 win over Wakefield and 44-22 win over London Broncos. Would be good to see them go one step further and win the SL or CC if they do I can see French RL take off within 10 years.

After last season, regular season games aren't anything to go by, let alone pre season friendlies!

Wouldn't begrudge the french a title, but I really cant see it happening, this year, or indeed the next few years

I think Dan Sarginson still qualifies for rookie of the year so you would think he'd be a leading candidate.
