No he is not coming out of retirement to play for the Sharks but according to today's Sunday Telegraph has agreed to assist Stuart Raper in coaching the outside backs.
The article says how ET and Stuart Raper are good mates and that the appointment was "unofficial". This would tend to suggest that he would be helping out in a voluntary capacity ie no payment doing it for his mate and for "the love of the club".
All in all this is positive news for the club which recently has had a habit of receiving bad publicity. More importantly it can only help our outside backs particularly in defence.
