my money is on the Huns
Will the Germans claim a record fourth European title? Will Spain finally live down their reputation of under-achievers? Can France make it two in a row? Will England win its first Euro title? Or is this the year that a nation such as Bulgaria defies the odds – like Denmark in 1992 – and win it all? ;-)

At $21, Totti is a great bet for Top goalscorer.

He scored 21 goals this season for Roma - and he isnt even a striker.

I am so disappointed in that result. :(

Full credit to the Greeks for starting so well, they fully deserved an early goal, and the Portugal defence was pathetic at the beginning. But the last seventy minutes was the most frustrating viewing. The Greeks barely got the ball past halfway, but Portugal's domination of possession led to nothing but ineffectual crosses and poor shots on goal. This is gonna be the World Cup all over again. :x

Portugal dominated possession, but they just lacked the killer instinct. The midfield and the strikers just couldn't link up.

One thing I want to know - where were Figo and Deco when Ronaldo was putting in those crosses in the 2nd half? He had no less than 4 crosses to the back post where there were no defenders; the problem was that there were no attackers either. It's the job of the opposite winger (Figo in this case) to be coming in on the back post looking for that.

Yeah, I thought Ronaldo produced a few crosses of top quality that really should have led to goals. A predatory striker like Ruud Van Nistelrooy (as much as I like to bag him) probably would have come up with a brace of goals with the service Ronaldo was providing.

What a stunning finish in the France v England game. Can't help but feel sorry for the poms, but I didn't think they really offered much at all and didn't deserve to win either. A draw would have been a fair result for the game but I'm happy with France winning it. I had two english friends watching it with me, they took the loss suprisingly well and are still optimistic about England's chances.

The people in London didn't, been a fair amount of rioting happening round the capital. Especially in Croydon where the town centre was closed for 2 hours by riot police.

That game proved another thing:

Thierry Henry is not world class.

He does the dissapearing act once again. He can only perform against EPL defences, most of which are absolute sh!t.

He hasnt played a decent game for France against quality opposition since 2000 and even then, he didnt stand out.

I think Arsenal may have a different view.
