Even though we lost.....

full credit has to go to the Parramatta forwards, they really stepped up in the second half and hung in there, even when we were behind 12 points on two occassions. The Broncos were the better team and are a top side, but we really stuck it to them. Good effort boys.

yeah they were great against the best pack in the game. if we can weed a few little errors out of out game then we are a big chance of making the 8 but we are going to struggle with such a close competition. dean widders played great tonight. hes hit a purple patch.

I'd like to give a rap to Justin Tsoulos again, this bloke had another good game yesterday. Everytime he ran the ball he looked so dangerous, a future star definately.

Wagon setup Langi's try last week v Manly with a kick that obviously got him thinking that he is a kicker. :D ;-)

He did ok and passed as a pivot should. Give wagon a break. We just didnt have the spark we had last week and those dropped balls were our demise.

I have no doubts Wagon prefers NOT to kick - I remember in hte Knights game Waggy got caught with the ball on the last tackle and had plenty of room to get a kick in but didn't want to and passed to someone in worse position.

But when you only have 1 general play kicker left on the field, he plays the ball and its the last tackle, hey, someone's gotta do it :?

i'm not too disappointed with last night's game. obviously the result didn't go our way, but being down by 12 points at 2 different stages in the game and coming back to evens on both occasions shows that they didn't give up. Brisbane are a top quality team, and if we can play just a little better than last night we will give Penruff a good run for their money next weekend.

Yeah good performance by your team, Parra showed alot of heart.

I thought the Ref was a bit sus not dissallowing one of our tries, then the Video Ref giving you a try when the guy didn't even ground it and had touched the sideline.

Hindmarsh had a great game as usual.

I hope your team keeps at this form and improves on it with your halves cause in the end that's what cost ya.

Best of luck all Parra supporters. :D

I don't think it mattered in the end. If you take out the contention referee decisions Brisbane would have won by 30. That wouldn't have been fair, Brisbane were the better side, but not by that much.

Brisbane were a better side, and if Parramatta can't win the dam thing I hope they do, we played with heart thats true, they always play with heart and I always like watching them play; they had no reason to come out to play given their standing on the table and after their performance in SOO II, but after last year they had a point to prove; that they could back up and they did.

I thought the game was over when Dykes went down but to the boys credit they stuck in there. Dykes always has a better second half and if he was on the field we would have one. When the pressure is on he has always shown that he has what it takes, nerve.

I'm very proud of our display.

My only complaint is to the media - every report I've read or heard all mention Casey's injury and how it cost Brisbane, but fail to mention Dykes' injury and its impact on us.
