A couple more fullbacks last night and still none of them wanted to contest the bombs.

I think the Kearney experiment is over.

Looked very uncomfortable in the position.

That old saying "You don't know what you've lost until you've lost it."

COME BACK SIMMO!!!!!!

Come back Peach. Come on Grose. Come on Tosh. Keep at it kearney.

All far superior to simmons.

Lets hope he is a slow healer.

Tosh was ordinary in Premier League, lost confidence..thanks Mr Raper.
Keep Kearney at the back, Simmo to the wing for Albert.

Those of you who bag Simmons
He has been dangerous for us all year, something we have lacked since he has been gone.

Kearney playing with his heart but not a fullback. Is constantly out of position when kick goes up.

hahahaha
what a joke of a thread.

our season will turn around with simmons at the back.

GAME BREAKER!!!
THE DESTROYER!!!!!!
IS IT A MACHINE!!!!!!!

If people cant see the value of peach now after 2 weeks or 30 sets of 6 on 2 different teams try lines, with different styles of defense, then you need to give yourselves uppercuts of the highest order.

So on the strength of one performance against a Joey led Knights you people think Kearney was no good a fullback. Well here's a scoop for you. Neither fullback nor the wingers were attempting to catch the high balls last night. Those that did made errors and were going against instructions.

Also for the memory impaired, wasn't it Simmons who looked twice as bad against Joey only 4 weeks ago at Energy Australia Stadium.

Sure, put Simmo back in. Will help put us all out of our misery that much sooner.

Make him 5/8. That'd be a hoot. Dumb and Dumber as the playmakers.

It's nothing to do with Simmons.

If he "ever" looked dangerous it was when we had anything but a BK/AD halves combo.

Why do you ostriches refuse to see the obvious?

I don`t know what you`re watching, but have you not noticed that the Sharks attack is much, much more predictable when Dave Simmons is NOT playing at fullback ??? Not sure what you have against the bloke, but be fair dinkum.

FFS!

Sid Vicious was a great singer for Led Zepplin. I know as I watched him play.

Well i suggest you get a better seat.

Where's he buried?

But back to the point...

Tell me how in less than 50 words the Sharks attack is less predictable with Simmo at fullback.

If you can`t see it, there`s no need to explain it, but results will give you a good indication.

Agreed, not that I saw it, agree with the treatment angle.

Agreed again, just have a word to go for the ball.

Simmo to the wing
Agreed again.

for Albert.
Disagree, move Covell to centre.

Fullback is far from the issue.

You got nothing.
A fullback is a vital attacking option in todays game, correct ???
Simmons is pacy, runs good lines and therefore offers the playmakers a genuine attacking option which they haven`t had since he`s been injured. Have a look at the points scored when Simmons is playing compared to the points scored when he`s been injured, that will paint a picture in itself.

Why, can he play halfback?
Fullback is the very least of our problems.

I can promise you, Simmo could return and have his best ever game for the club and it won't get us over the line.

Fullback?
You have to start with the coach.
Then the halfback/captain.
If we get rid if that combo some of our tryscorers like Albert and Vagana might get the ball in their hands in space sometime during the 80 minutes.

blokes like simmons and Pom will not shine till the problem is fixed, not the symtoms.

Simmo needs to go straight back into the number 1. Move Kearney to 5/8 and Dykes to halfback. Drop Noddy. Our attack is too predictable. I am over seeing Noddy throwing inside balls everytime he gets it. I'd rather the unpredictable Dykes - Kearney combo that what we are currently getting. Trial this for a couple of weeks, and if it looks good, release Noddy to get one last pay day in the Super League. Wigan will be needing a halfback for 2007.

The thread was about our fullback position, not about BK/AD. There are any 4000 threads on them.
