Apparently Patty Richards went off with a very bad knee injury. He was carried off and their was an ambulance at the ground after the game.

Apparently it's worse than a buggered knee- he's broken his leg according to radio reports this morning

Poor guy.

He has fought back from injury and bulked up. Thats a lot of hard work.

This will not do much for his confidence, as when he returned from his previous leg injury, he seemed to lack the confidence to run hard at his opponent.

You have to feel for the guy. He is a Parra junior.

If this is true, Patty can say goodbye to his league career.

Bad Luck - He's a good young fella. This must be an incredible disappointment for him.

I feel sorry for him as a person cause u don't like to see anyone hurt like that buuuuuuuutttttttttt sucked in to the tigers they can have the World sevens title cause as we all know it means jack. Wests Tigers will finish in the bottom 3 this year simply because they have no depth.

Where as parra has great depth with Fu Fu Moi Moi , Wade Mckinnon, Corey pearson, Wise Katavawhatever sure to be top signings

As much as I feel for Richards and his propensity for injury, in defence of our signings vs Wests fans prior braggings, you'd have to say at least all of ours will be on the playing field come round one?

Some of Wests injury prone signings were bound to be $$$$ drain.

Typical eel fans, just because you lost the sevens now you are claiming it isent worth jack?!?! Tigers will finish higher than the eels this year...even North Queensland will make the eight.

I still think 7s is worth the same as it always has been. A good thing to win at the start of the season, but as we have unfortunately found out, it's not a prediction of where your team will end up at the end of the year.

Mate, I hope Wests, Cowboys and Parra all make the 8, but we'll need some of the more fancied teams to drop through the pack. If I was a betting man I'd still say Parra is the best chance of the three at this stage, but I'm looking forward to seeing us go around against the Tigers this Sunday...

Your glass must always be half empty I would presume, Worm.

Depending on the injury, and the common thread I've heard reported today is dislocated ankle, he could be back by May.

Every player that runs on the park from u6's to 1st grade risks injury, the fact some get injured more than others is just bad luck.

How many times did Big Mal break his arm??? 3 or 4 if memory serves me correct....was he injury prone?

Yep, higher in points and tries conceded.

Delusion seems to be a prerequisite for tiger's supporters.
