Im probably in the minority but the one commentator i enjoyed listening to back in the day was Matt Russell.

He was fair with his commentary re Warriors and if he sensed an upset he really enjoyed calling our games.

Grew up with Graham Hughes and Ray Warren calling games, didn’t realise how spoiled we were !

Never minded Russell. Andy Raymond was very good too and they tossed him for no reason

Warren Smith rated highly these days but I’m not a fan of him at all. Voss annoys me these days too

Yeh Voss is overplaying his hand these days. Was better a few years back. Agree he has become annoying.

Walker was a bit mud, Montoya more so, and Curran not flash either. Volkman for the win! Great to see him back in the NRL and doing good. Old mate Lussick looks like he will be the Panthers hooker for the next few months with Kenny broken.
