Well they aren't accurate to the exact stat, but they're usually a fair indication. Nutley did a mountain of work. Faaaaaaark, a combined hitup/tackle tally of over 70. Not bad at all.

Also, note that Stevo made 20+ hitups and average about 10 metres per run. Excellent work from the big man.

Also note that three Parra players approached the 50 tackle mark.
700 tackle match?
Has to be something wrong.
It says they did 40 more tackles but we only had one more set???

Tune in tomorrow & see what they look like after a few more "passes"

And 8 missed tackles.

What a bonanza for virtual NRL forward trys. I guess it was because it was such a low scoring game. No wonder Hilder rarely passed it to Vagana, surely he was buggered.

By the way I sware Isemonger missed the first tackle he attempted, yet he's down for 0 missed tackles. From looking at the stats, he can't have been out there long.

They only had about a 70% completion rate. We had an 80% completion rate, so your comment of 1 more set is wrong. I think theirs was 31/44 and ours was 36/45. I could be wrong, but I think thats what the Herald quoted today. I don't have it infront of me atm, so I might be wrong also...

our 41 missed tackles stood out though compared to any other team played this weekend.

We won though and it means we can still improve plenty if we tighten up our mid-field defence, we seem to go okay on our line though.

Stats haven't changed yet. I wonder if they are correct?

Remember a few weeks back when Ned Catic got completely axed by Petero Civoniceva in the first tackle of the Brisbane/Roosters game? He came off straight away... and was credited with 2 tackles for his effort.

That didn't get fixed, so don't take those stats too seriously.
