That was the BEST win of the season for atmosphere and sheer guts from the boys.
I sat in the western stand with some pleasant Panthers STH and I swear there were more Parra fans there than Panthers.
Agree , theirs were three tries from kicks , sloppy cleaning up by our back three , and an intercept. Our guys put on FIVE classy efforts and the lucky Horo one at the end.
And when Hayne took off on the 80 m run , I stood up and jumped , didn't care who wanted to shout me down.
Awesome effort boys , well worth the 5 hour drive up from the snow , in front of a record crowd!
Let the Hayne Train roll on to ANZ next week!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was just an even up for what had come before....
and if you think supporting the Eels is frustrating, try supporting the Panthers.

Anyway, no excuses, Parra played very well, and we didn't. Maybe next time...

i was at the game with another eels supporter and 2 panthers supporters and dead set was copping sh*t from evrywhere..however i never thought we were out of it coz te panthers scored so quickly and gave us time to get back..i kept tellin myself as long as we score before halftime once or twice we'll win this lol and it f**kin paid off
definately in the top 3 games ive ever witnessed and srsly god bless jarryd hayne

At 22-0 one of them started up on the phone, calling people to yell about what the score would end up and how good it was. His mates all bashed him and told him to shut up before he jinxed it.

After Jono's 2nd try, they absolutley gave it to him, it was so funny. Never EVER gloat before you know the game is out of reach!!!

:lol: I went to the tigers broncos match the other day with my cousin (tigers fan) and a good mate of ours (broncos fan). The whole game my cousin was whinging about the tigers and benji while our mate just sat their quietly. With about 9 minutes to go i said to my mate you'v got this won tigers haven't look like scoring. He waited about another minute and then started feeding it to my cousin. Well we all know how that game turned out and apparently it's my fault for convincing him to talk it up. :lol:
