just thinking, what would happen if Alonso wins the Suzuka race and Schumacher finishes second and then in Brazil Schumacher finishes second and Alonso finishes third..who takes the WDC.?

if it goes on pole, looks like alonso, he's got 6 opposed to Schu whose got 4...if it goes on podium, looks like alonso again, he's got 14 opposed to Schu whose got 12...

it'll be interesting the last two races of the year...if Schu takes this years WDC, then two champs of their sports bowed out in style, Schu and Webcke, then Johns next year can also have his fairytale...

It's a pretty easy equation after Suzuka...

But in answer to your question, if two drivers were equal on points and wins, the Championship would go to the driver with the most second places, then thirds, then fourths, and so on

It's the motorsport equivalent of a countback in golf
