After a great season and an absorbing finals series, the 2007 Grand Final will be fought out between.......

Congratulations to both these teams and commiserations to the losing finalists. There were some some great games along the way.

I know that we all look forward to a tremendous Grand Final.

Just on a slightly sadder note, it is timely to announce that this game will be
the final game for Senior Referee, antonius. After four years of officiating,
antonius is stepping back. Thanks for your great support of the F7s, and
a personal thanks for your help and support to me in my first year.

Game time : Sunday 9 September – Wednesday 19 September

This doesn't look like the official match thread so hopefully the following thoughts shouldn't hurt the Warriors too much

Stoked to be in the GF eh bro? I reckon you baggers would've thought you saw the last of us a couple of weeks back, hopefully it'll be a closer match this time around. I'll see you boys at the GF breakfast! I also hope this is a GF farewell to remember for antonius, top notch officiating; you'll be missed.

I started playing f7s for the Canberra Raiders way back in 2002 then spent the next 3 years for the Rabbitohs and started captaining the Warriors in 2006. When I handed my captaincy to byrne_rovelli forumers and critics said we wouldn't make the semi's. But boy she has done a great job. This is my 5th year of forum sevens and its only this year I had my first taste of f7s semi finals football. Making the grand final tastes better then a succulent cheeseburger.
