Don't be put off by the fact its on a Hawthorn-focussed site and that the post starts out with a clear Hawthorn angle, as profiles on a mass of players taken in the draft are provided further down.

For mine, Mojo31 is as good a poster on football matter as anyone and he knows his junior footballers back to front.

You'll have to register with the site to read them, but its worth it, as they're an excellent read and well worth a look.

Not exactly.

I was shuffling around some alternative club sites gauging reaction to their drafting choices when I saw a Hawk related thread on PRE and thought I might as well get involved.

As with all football sites you take a little bad (Blaisee, Ian 4) with the good (Evo, Skills), but generally the discussion has been okay.

I don't like to spend overt time on HHQ, as the discussion becomes a bit insular, and if you spend all your time on your own club's site you can get a limited view on what's happening at other clubs and a distorted view of developments occuring outside your own club.

There's a few inhabitants on HHQ who really need to "get out more" and the same can definitely be said of PRE.

You embrace your gun draft picks and think about what they can achieve, NOT what they may not achieve.

Gumbleton is a top prospect and deserves to be treated as such, and should be given the benefit of the doubt for several years NOT several days.
