After 14 years in NRL first grade football (Rabbitohs 10 years and Sharks 4 years), Luke ‘Baz’ Stuart will be farewelled as a Rabbitohs living legend at the Round 24 Rabbitohs vs Cowboys clash at ANZ Stadium - presented by Million Dollar Memo and Queensland Tourism.

To celebrate his amazing career the Club has organised a farewell card on behalf of Rabbitohs’ Members, and this is your chance to give Luke Stuart the send off he deserves.

The giant farewell card is available for all Members to pen a message of thanks to Luke for all of his efforts for the South Sydney Rabbitohs over the past ten seasons, and will be available to sign at the Rabbitohs vs Cowboys game to be played on Friday 19 August at ANZ Stadium, the Rabbitohs’ final home game of the season.

Members have two opportunities to sign the card which will be positioned in the Kidzone area on the South West Terrace (accessed via the stairs at Aisle 134) until kick-off, and then available at the Members Post Match function located in ‘The Cauldron’ on the North West Terrace straight after full time.
* Please note the post match function is subject to capacity and you must present your Membership card on entry not your Membership keyring.

Other Rabbitohs milestones will also be celebrated at our last home game for season 2011. With John Lang coaching his last Rabbitohs home game, and Issac Luke celebrating his 100th NRL game. So make sure you make your way out there on Friday night to cheer on the Red & Green, in their bid to keep this season alive!

Luke Stuart is one of those players who never got the full recognition they deserved from the media or selectors during their careers.

He performed at a consistent high standard week in week out, playing in teams that mostly struggled. He is a champion in my books and hopefully he has a great night on Friday capped off with a Souths victory.

Good on ya Baz.
