I've been critical of him because he hasn't done anything to deserve the big raps and media attention he gets.

I feel that my opinion of Barrett has been justified on today's pea hearted performance...

It's not just Barrett . I'd love a major cleanout of the clubs roster , I'm sure we won't win a comp with this squad . Too prone to mental disintergration some of these superstars ..

I disagree with you guys. Sure Barrett played terribly today, but I still think it's a little early in the season to write us off.

As far as I'm concerned the problem lies in the culture of the club, which in turn reflect our performance on the field.

The Broncos, the Dogs, and teams of the like never accept anything less than perfection, and if they're falling short, they re-build.

We tend to just give jobs to the boys and hope it turns out ok. I think you can look at the 27 years without a premiership as proof.

11 in a row was a bloody long time ago...

If your suggesting that grandfinals are won and lost in the front office I agree with you .

I couldn't agree more with those last two posts, but really haven't been able to put my finger on it

There is deffinately a mental issue with our superstars....and there is a culture problem as well. But I wonder what is behind this mental breakdown of several of our stars?

I too am starting to believe and get used to the idea that this group of players won't win a comp, for all it's obvious talent

It could get worse for us next week...we playe the Warriors I believe, we it's certain around 50% of our side atleast will be backing up from City v Country...only 24 hours after.....where as the Warriors are bound to have at most only 1 or 2 in that rep game.....

gee, we really don't know how to seize the moment do we?

I'm losing patience now

only two of ur players are backing up.
u were joking werent you?

that class is slowly but surley leaving the club. be retirement (old and off contract), change of clubs or ... union (if that does happen)

Thanks for the positive spin. But I disagree, a classy team shouldn't produce this sort of rubbish.

I don't know, a few weeks ago there were scummers wanting Ando back. Now there was a great coach who understood the winning culture.

I'll always love Baz because he is a Blues legend, he always performed for us at Origin level.

QLD will win if he is not selected this year.

He has gone into many Origin's underdone or lacking form but as always performed, especially when given the lead playmaking role.

I don't remember him dominating as the lead playmaker. I can recall him playing some beautiful football alongside Fittler or Johns, but as the main go to man; never.
