Steve Price being ruled out is fate’s way of removing from our wrath the Bulldogs “good guy”, he doesn’t deserve what’s coming!

And I say wrath, because fate has placed this team directly in our path. The path that we want! The path that we deserve!

And this is good for two reasons.

1 We have a score to settle. I still remember 1980 and I want revenge.

2 Through settling this score we will administer to the Bulldogs the justice that the Rugby League community has sought for recent indiscretions.

How do you break a mongrel dog of bad habits? You BASH the crap out of it until it submits.

GO EASTS!!!

Chook.

That's exactly freaking right. I can tell you I'll be on here loud and proud, win or lose, Monday morning. I know for a fact certain Rooster boosters cannot. Pretty sad really.

The Roosters will not win the GF.

You heard it here first... so don't come whingeing when you do your dough on the over-rated Eastern Suberbs RL Team.

Sorry to the decent chook supporter(s) here, but now that I've announced it, it's a done deal. :alcho:

Win or lose I don't know about you lot, but I won't be anywhere near a computer! You won't hear from me for at least a couple days after the grandfinal... If we win you may not see me here for a month!

First? You would have to be the 600th person I've heard/read with the same comment.

Remember the last time the Roosters were in the GF in a Olympic year.

They got smashed. :)

Yes unfortunately fate doesn't work that way... Remember during last years rugby world cup they had an email being circulated that showed that the conditions Australia had for Victory in the 91' RWC were almost EXACTLY the same as the 2003?.... it was a pretty good theory, but that sort of stuff doesn't mean sweet f*ck all on the day.

I won't be here Monday that I guarantee after spending a day cheering for 3 grades and the relay I'll be stuffed and the last place I will appear is here.

I will however, be back on Tuesday....I'll face the music.... :D

Canterbury got smashed the last time they played in a GF before a federal election as well. By the same opponent as the Roosters in 2000.

As for the Roosters they have never won a GF in an Olympic year.

The Roosters have played in Grand Finals in Olympic years in 1960, 1972, 1980, 2000 and lost em all.
