Clive James replaces Fatty

The expatriate TV personality and life-long Dragons fan, Clive James, will host tonight's episode of The Footy Show in the absence of Paul Vautin and Peter Sterling.
Vautin suffered severe concussion after falling from the back of a truck during filming for the show on Tuesday, despite wearing a sumo suit. He is still in hospital; Sterling is on leave after the death of his father, Max.
Vautin has been told by doctors he will not be allowed home before the weekend, possibly not for another week.
With James in Australia to promote a new magazine, Channel Nine's director of sport, Steve Crawley, approached him yesterday to host the show. "He'll be terrific," Mr Crawley said. "He's a Kogarah boy and a keen St George follower, as well as an international television talent."
Mr Crawley said he hoped that Vautin would be back on deck next week but Vautin's manager and close friend, John Gibbs, said it was uncertain when Vautin would leave hospital.
"You would think a sumo suit would break your fall but it makes it worse because the padding comes down and your head goes back like whiplash," Mr Gibbs said.
