I've only been to two; Ausgrid, because i live here, and AAMI. Me and a friend are going to Brooky in round 25 for the Grand Final rehearsal, and i'm a bit worried about all the comments about Brookvale. Not looking forward to the 40-0 signs tbh.

Shark park, to me their the least annoying fans. Unlike those other fans that always talk about their 20 premierships they won a hundred years ago.

My favourite away trips:
- Brisbane at Suncorp - quality stadium, good trip and the Dragons have a good record up there;
- Roosters at SFS - arguably the best ground to watch Rugby League and these days always a special day on ANZAC day .. can't beat the walk up Foveaux St; and
- Penrith at CUA - I can't put my finger on why, but always enjoy the trip down the M4 to Penrith for this one. Never had any trouble with their fans and a nice little hill.

Honourable mention to Parramatta pre the seated hill days .. it was one of the best hills now ruined by advertising hoardings stopping you from seeing replays on the big screen. That, and their fans are often knobs. Also a game at Leichhardt would be nice since we haven't been there since about 2001. Shark Park in the old days was always a good night out too when I was a teenager, love the local derby.

Least favourites:
- Manly at Brookvale - not only is the place a hole, the facilities are garbage, the hill is too small, the parking and public transport are non-existant but worst of all their fans are absolute mutts in general. I've never copped as much abuse pre, during and post game, win or lose, than I have done at Brookvale;
- Storm at Olympic - one of the worst grounds in Rugby League now thankfully dead and buried .. decent city though; and
- Anyone at ANZ - does this need an explanation? There's more atmosphere on the moon.

+1. Only redeeming feature is the amount of quality you see strolling back and forth during the game. Shame it's wasted on the locals!

Least favorites would be Brookvale for all the listed reasons, Parramatta (all the fences segregating bays and stopping you walking around the ground make you feel like you're in a prisoner of war camp. Parramatta could be such a better ground than what it is) and Skilled Park (unless you have a decent crowd the place is soulless, no bars nearby to have a pre/ post match drink so instead having to fork out $$$$ for tepid XXXX Gold). I can think of many places I'd rather be than Toyota Park on a winters' night, too.

Penrith, right amount of seats and hill area. good value seating in GA. good choice of food. also closest ground to where I live
Got to agree with Brisbane fans being the quietest fans ever

I don't understand why Broncos fans would be quiet? It's not like they have a history of supporting a shit team...

Don't worry - Brookvale is fine. The only place you'll cop any abuse is on the right hand side of the hill (facing the ground) around the kiosk, and even then it'll be purely verbal from the minority of geniuss who think they're the dogs bollocks. I'm looking at you Sea Eagles nerds - the newbie mongs who yell "buffooon" and make up gay songs. You guys are knobs.

Get there 45 minutes early, grab a spot of grass on the other side of the hill and you'll have a great night. Enjoy the hostility and soak up the atmosphere of the derelict old ground. Hopefully Manly will tear Melbourne a new butthole.

SFS is the best when there is a big crowd, the walk to and from the stadium to Central was always memorable.

Parramatta used to be the 2nd best stadium until they reduced the capacity by about 8,000 people it hasn't been the same since it became all seater.

North Sydney Oval was always a good trip also the stadium is probably the most unique in Australia. Not ideal for watching league but with the SCG design it was a very attractive looking stadium.

I enjoyed going to Gosford they have a really nice stadium it's a shame it is wasted.

Campbelltown is also much better now after it's reconfiguration.

Kograh was alright up on the hill.

Shark Park i couldn't believe it had a larger capacity then Penrith the ground looks tiny compared to the others in Sydney.

Wollongong is a nice stadium since it is on the beach.

Homebush was disappointing.

Brookvale and Leichardt were the two worst i have been two but i wasn't there during first grade only junior grades. It might be better when it is full but both were way past there primes as top quality football stadiums.

To be honest i haven't really had a bad away experience.

Another vote for Leichhardt. Last went there in the early '80s , Steelers v Tigs. The grandstand I was in shook. Loved it.

Also went to a Wests/Manly match smack in the middle of the fibro/silvertail era. Apart from last years grand final (which the Dragons won btw) it was probably the most intense atmosphere I've ever witnessed at a game. I was 16 years old, supported neither of the teams, and I was terrified.

Suncorp is an amazing ground (when not under water), and the SFS is great for big games.
But for club games, a warm winter Sunday afternoon at any of the quirky, not quite perfect suburban fields is the way to go. Kogarah, Brookevale, CUA, Campbeltown and especially Leichardt are great.
But the best away experience for a Sharks fan is the local derby at Kogarah- just a great time.

ANZ Stadium is good when there's a full house. Other than that.

When Souths decided they would be playing their home games there I got harangued by Bunnies supporters for suggesting that they should go to NASA for pre season training to allow the player to acclimatise to a place which has no atmosphere
