TBH, no, but not everyone made it on Bandstand, certainly not to their heights.
Over the years they included Col Joye, Little Pattie, Warren Williams, Lucky Starr, Sandy Scott, Bryan Davies, Dinah Lee, Johnny Devlin, Laurel Lea, Judy Stone, the De Kroo Brothers, Digby Richards, Robyn Alvarez, the Bee Gees, the Allen Brothers (a duo of the unrelated Peter Allen and Chris Bell), Helen Reddy, Lana Cantrell, Cathy Wayne, The Delltones, Pat Carroll and Olivia Newton-John.
There's a lot more like the EasyBeats.

I'll try to find a clip of a complete music nobody who walked in off the street and heard Dylan recording. He saw a piano and started playing the piano to bob's music thinking noone was listening. Bob heard it and recorded it to be a hit.....more to follow :)

I got the details mixed up. It was how an unknown Al Kooper became more known.
He would go on to be a great American songwriter, record producer and musician. Also joined Blood Sweat and Tears.

Who were the first of your rellies to come to Oz......first fleet? Mine were.
Never been mentioned, so I don't know, my GGrandfather lived just outside of London in the Grays area, in 1870, I think it was. But I didn't find out how they got here.

Good stuff. I'd look into it as there could be some interesting facts and yarns.
It's so easy to do Genealogy when one has two convicts who married on Norfolk Island just after the first fleet arrived in Oz.
I'm actually going to a huge reunion in September if I can recover in time from the hip replacement next month.
I love Tassie, beautiful place to drive around. Antique shop in every town.
I don't know about the music scene as it's still a large island:)
