I would like to think when Coach Sheens donned his spectacles and reached for his Felt Tip Pen he made a big fat circle in the months of April and May.

Having got off to a satisfactory 2 from 3 start Coach Sheens in the next 6 weeks can look forward to.

* the 4 Worst Sqauds in The NRL
- A South Sydney Team that Georgie Peats wouldn't look out of place in at rake
- A Panthers side containing no halves, Doomben player of the year Brendan Worth and Elliott'ds meat and potatoes coaching
- A Knights side of nuffies minus Buderus, Gidley and possible Simpson
- A Canberra side containing Trevor Thurling and Dane Tilse

* 4 Sunday Afternoon Games
- Everyone knows the Tigers have allergic reactions on wet tracks. There can be no excuses on a dry track on a sunny afternoon.

If the Tigers can't take advatage of this period, by winning minimum 4 from 6 they will continue to be mediocre in the extreme. SOme of these sides we play are feeble outfits that should be picked apart.

If we thought last year was a sh*t comp we win't seen nothing yet
This year is even lower.
We have just been belted by kane cleal and jarrod hickey who managed to look like Lazarus and Roach and we manage to gift hazem al qaeda 2 line breaks
Thank f**k johnny cronk is still there carving up for us

Perhaps. Then those rounds appear to be the perfect opportunity to continue with the current line up. No need to drop any underperformers, or field a halfback. Make hay while the sun shines, wot?

Or whilst the tom shines ...
They mentioned the coaching carousel on the footy show just now
What a shame our esteemed coach wasn't on it

Yeh Eddie what a soft ride into 2008, I would consider 6 out of eight as a pass mark only. On what I saw last week I think we will be lucky to get 4 out of eight.

People might think I have taken another negative pill after one loss, but all the bad signs of 2006 and 2007 came out again to haunt us.

1--the side ways shuffle
2--the rugby sevens style lets go backwards
3--nil kicking game
4--nil penertration in the red zone
5--defensive sets carting the ball off our own line rubbish
6--defending our red zone ify at best
7--little team getting belted by a bigger team

Okay with Gibbs Collis Benji and maybe Ohara still to come back all is not lost but gee that effort against the dogs was a carbon copy of our last month of 2007, in a word crap

SC point 4 is very concerning for me. We look a very good side 30-50 out, but inside the opposition 20 we get rushed, impatient and take so many wrong options. I know we are missing 2 great backs in benj and collis who can really create stuff in traffic but we had enough forays into the youlays' 20m line to have score 10 tries

One can hope (and assume) that the inclusion of Matt Head into the side will eliminate points 3 and 4 which can lead onto 7

Wouldnt be too confident.. you could easily lose those 4 games.

* Souths smacked you last year at Leichhardt..
* Panthers have the wood on you
* Newcastle beat you last year during the turmoil...playing for a semi spot as well and still didnt win. Farah is also likely to be in the NSW Squad as well.. I dont really rate you lot without him tbh
* Canberra at home are a different story..

I wouldnt go around calling other squads "nuffies" if I were you... kinda hypocritical actually. Morris? Galloway? Galea?

On last weeks effort they wouldnt beat anyone, but every weeks a new ball game and you just never never know if they are going to turn up or turn on a shocker

prior to 2007, Penrith had won the last 6. First of those 6 was at Campbelltown, the next 5 were at CUA and Stadium Australia (ANZ stadium now).

Last year Tigers won twice.

I wouldn't really say they have the wood on the Tigers anymore.

Not to mention this year is an origin trial for the NSW halfback
Well if Des Hasler can talk about his spastic half for origin then pamfas and tigers fans should as well
Imagine johnny in origin .. more metres than hindmarsh and ryan and even better would be he could miss 6 tigers games

hopefully he gets selected in origin 1, breaks his leg in half and it takes 2 years to recover, at which point we can release him to some dopey arsed English Super League side

Bit harsh with the leg break. But I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a Jamie Lyon style walk-out from him.

If he walked out, then theres the hope that some dumb sh*t club like Souths would pick him up, and that way we get to play against the f**k.

Tigers should have done absolutely everything to keep Pearce. You don't just let a legends son go like that. Pretty pathetic really.

He was a Bears junior and if I believe correctly, never played juniors at Tigers.
Correct, and to be honest, I'm fairly certain the Tigers didn't even make him an offer.

Daniel Roach falls into the same category too I think (he's currently in Cronulla's lower grades, after starting out in Union i think)
