I'll get the ball rolling

Greg Florimo - North Sydney Stalwalt(sp?), 285 games and abloody great player to boot. Does about everything there is to do within the North Sydney Club as Gener Manager these days including being the Ground Announcer at our home games and also helping to wash the jumpers. A true North Sydney legend.

Jason Taylor - Excellent half for us over the 94-98 period before the entire club lost it in 99. Played very well but wasnt great in finals footy. And a supurb goal kicker

Brett Dallas - Flying winger, top player for us, one of the fastest men in the game at the time and a redhead to boot :)

Billy Moore - Fire Up!!! This guy was the true meaning of it on the Footy field. Agressive and a champion lock forward for us in some 211 first grade games.

Gary Larson - Absolute workhorse over the years, 2nd most games for us at 234 and along with Moore and David Fairleigh was part of the dynamic back row which paved the way for our 90's revival. Tackled n Tackled n Tackled and as taken on the daunting task of coaching us over the last two seasons. Will be missed.

Rod Wishart - Fan favourite, Roy n HG may have hated him but he was a champ. Also a genuine nice bloke.

Paul Mcgregor - excellent centre for the Steelers, NSW and Australia. Still see him playing touch footy every now and again as well

Brad Fittler - What can i say, best player i have ever seen. 334 games and another two wins to go for him. Best step ever.

Tim Brasher - Best fulback to watch. May not have the skills of Lockeyer(Lockeyer has always been a 5/8, just defended at fullback for a long while) but geez he was great bring the ball back with such enthusiasm. His last SoO series was sensational. Shat all over Brett Mullins and Matthew Ridge.

Ryan Girdlir - Top class centre, always astounded me he didnt get picked for rep again after a few seasons. Always has been better than M Gidley and B Tate.

Rubeun Wiki, was always my fav player, so much guts and passion, always puts in 110
also- toots, mainly for the game in 2001 where he had a badly injuried ankle, and still played the last 10 minutes (because we had no bench) and hleped us win the game

I could list a lot of Broncos but my favourites from other clubs:
Matthew Ridge & Tim Brasher - Two of the best fullbacks going around when I was just getting into Rugby League and Ridge being a Kiwi was just a Rugby League legend in this country but was only great when he was at Manly.

Paul Harragon & Mark Carroll - I think we all loved these two guys, especially when they lined up against each other as the battles were just amazing. Two guys that could take an awesome amount of punishment and still get up.

My current day non-Bronco favourite would have to be Matt Orford for the way in which he plays the game followed closely by the likes of Bowen and Slater for their ability to do absolutely freakish things on the footy field.

Well here’s my list…broken down into ‘Fave Dogs’..and the ‘Best of the Rest!’ ;)

DOGS
Terry Lamb - Best & Toughest SOB of a player - week-in-week out I ever saw! Without fail! Full stop.
Mick Potter - Brilliant fullback that never got to his full potential thanks 2 injuries
Steve Mortimer - Had skill to burn & NEVER afraid to try something exciting/risky at a time when defence was absolutely paramount!
Mark Brokenshire - ALL balls - With Britty, he carried us for a season or 2 in the mid 90's back when our pack was pretty weak. Hit like a JACKHAMMER!!
Scott Wilson Came to the Dogs for 2 years – Absolutely CARVED UP – then just disappeared! 2nd best ‘backerer-upperer’ I ever saw, just behind Baa! Another that never reached his full potential!
Jason Smith - Just a football wizard - SHATTERED when he left to join – PAH - Parra!
Craig Polla-Mounter - Knock him down 10 times...he'd get up 12!...Epitomised the phrase "Bulldog Spirit"
Jason Hetherington – Toughest damn hooker I ever saw!
Steven Price - Ditto the above comment on Bulldog Spirit. Nuff said!
Mark O'Meley - A one man wrecking ball! 8)
Willie Tonga The latest pup in the litter - A pure excitement MACHINE!

THE REST
Kerry Boustead – I played on the wing as a wee nipper back in those days b4 switching 2 fullback later on – And even though I was only very young - I remember vividly just really liking Bowey’s style at the time!
Phil Blake Even tho he started off playing at Manly – You just HAD to admire the flair with which the bloke played the game!..Back in the days of very much DEFENCE oriented footy!
Brad Clyde Was a champion on the field & remains a champion bloke off the field!
Scott Gale Much like Mortimer & Blake – he was a real livewire and always trying something a bit different!…I was greatly saddened to hear of his death earlier this year. 
Tony Armstrong Played for the Bulldogs & Sharks in the early-mid 80’s…Just because he’s a family friend!! :p
Brett MullinsAs an old nostalgic fullback myself – Mullins JUST shades Lockyer as the best custodian I have ever seen!...Locky’s more creative with the ball in hand – but as a natural hole/broken play runner – something every good fullback should be - Mullins was THE best! Craps on Minichello (As good a broken play runner as he is!) from a great height!…Great hands too - Could turn a game in a heartbeat!. Loved a drink, a smoke & a punt at every opportunity off the field as well…a real FAN’S player!! ;)
Nigel Vagana Not nicknamed ‘The Freak’’ for nothing!…Provided an entire highlights CATALOGUE for us fans in his 3 years’ at the Dogs – Sadly though, he’s not even been a SHADOW of a SHADOW of the player he was with us, at the Sharks this season!
